Downs put stamp on another deal

Mamelodi Sundowns will have Mosa Lebusa remaining at the club after the finalisation of his extension.

Lebusa has been at Sundowns for seven years establishing himself as a reliable left-footed central defender option.

His experience came in handy in the CAF Champions League as he played in both legs of the CAF Champions League semifinals and final.

Sundowns have now sealed his stay at the club ahead of their departure for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The 32-year-old will remain at Chloorkop for the 2025/26 season after the option (which already had figures) on his contract was triggered.

What gave Lebusa the advantage in his deal being extended is that the club has limited options of left footed central defenders with Lucas Suarez the only other natural left footer in central defence.

Divine Lunga can also play in that position when the situation demands.

All Sundowns players heading to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in USA will have contracts for the 2025/26 season.
