Billiat resurrects career both on and off the pitch!

Khama Billiat appears to be doing a great job reviving his career, with the Zimbabwean star having now also scored a cool brand deal. Here's a look!

The story

Billiat left South Africa in a slightly bitter fashion, as he spent more than six months without a club after he was released from Kaizer Chiefs in July 2023.

In February 2024, he agreed to a lucrative one-season contract with Yadah FC, marking a return to Zim topflight after more than a decade in the South African top tier.

This past weekend he made headlines again, as he was among the scorers in Yadah's 2-0 win over Highlanders.

It's hard to deny the pacy winger has regained his confidence and he looks to have scored a paid partnership with Dimd Group, the parent company of the skincare brand Billiat is now the face of.

According to FarPost, Billiat has six goals and five assists in 13 matches so far for his new club, with the season now in a midway stage.

As previously mentioned, the former Ajax Cape Town star only signed a one-year contract at Yadah and it seems to early to tell whether he will extend his contract or potentially give the DStv Premiership another go in the future.

In May, there were also some suggestions that he may get recalled to the national team but he was subsequently snubbed for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June due to his reported refusal to publicly announce that he wants to come out of international retirement.
