Chislett was born in Durban, South Africa, but relocated to England at a young age. He began his football journey in the Southampton Academy, though he was later released and moved on to join Metropolitan Police FC.
His career progressed through the English lower leagues, where he featured for clubs such as Basingstoke Town and Aldershot Town in the National League.
A turning point came in 2020 when he signed with English League One side AFC Wimbledon. Over five seasons, Chislett made more than 100 appearances in the EFL, establishing himself as a reliable attacking midfielder.
Most recently, he played for Port Vale FC during the 2024/25 season, contributing four goals and three assists in 25 matches.

His performances were instrumental in helping the club secure promotion to League One. Despite reported interest from European clubs, Chislett chose to return to SA and sign with the Soweto giants.
Now at Chiefs, he is expected to compete for a starting spot in midfield alongside Uruguayan playmaker Gaston Sirino and local talent Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
