A stunning report has revealed that the lavish Mercedes G-Wagon that Nigeria national team coach Finidi George has been cruising in ahead of their clash against Bafana Bafana was provided to him on a silver platter by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF). Here's a look!
The story
Having been recently appointed as the permanent coach of the Super Eagles, George is set to undertake his first major task when hs side face off against South Africa and Benin in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Prior to him being installed into the role, there was great uncertainty over who would be the next national team coach, with legends like Emmanuel Amunike and Daniel Amokachi reportedly having been in the race to land the position.

Nevertheless, George now appears to be reaping the rewards of being Nigeria boss, with a report by NPFL Updates, claiming that the extravagant green G-Wagon was made available to him by the NFF.
The report also claims that the football association wants to prioritise the welfare of their workers and the organisation is also said to have promised to find a good apartment in the country for George to reside in.

With that said, there isn't any doubts over the sheer quality of his new wheels, as it sports a unique green silhouette and all-black rims, giving the ride an imposing yet elegant aesthetic.
Although it's unclear whether George drives the car himself or he has a designated driver but what's is apparent is that the manager gets to enjoy the car's lavishly crafted interior, comprising leather seats as well as wooden and alloy trimmings.
The G-Wagon is a first-class SUV and one of the best models to be ever manufactured by the German carmaker. NFL Updates claims that the vehicle is worth N125 000 000 in Nigeria, which is approximately R1.6 million.
One of the ocassions that George was spotted with the ride was during his unveiling as Super Eagle head coach last month.
