On the eve of their final Club World Cup group match, Mamelodi Sundowns hosted a heartwarming coaching clinic for underprivileged children in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Here's a look!
The story
The event, held in partnership with Roc Nation Sports International, brought together over 50 local children on Tuesday for an afternoon of football, mentorship, and community engagement.

It celebrated the meeting of South African and South Florida cultures through sport.
Led by Head of Academy and Coaching Paulo Cardoso, alongside club legends, coaches, and senior leaders including chairman Tlhopie Motsepe, the clinic offered training drills, skill sessions, and one-on-one time with the players.
Each child received a club jersey to commemorate the experience.
The initiative was a standout moment in Sundowns’ Club World Cup journey, reflecting their commitment to uplifting communities and using football as a tool for empowerment and inspiration.
Sundowns next face Fluminense on Wednesday, 25 June at 21:00 (SA time).
