The African football governing body has revealed the newly designed Champions League trophy during an unveiling ceremony at the TotalEnergies offices in Johannesburg.

It won't be long before the new jewel is in the hands of a champion, as the winner of the two-legged final between Sundowns and Pyramids will make history by becoming the first team to lift this latest version of the trophy.
The newly revealed trophy is the fifth version of the prestigious silverware.
CAF also confirmed that the new Champions League trophy will go on tour to various media outlets in Johannesburg on Thursday and Friday.
