Tau flaunts his bling after conquering Africa

Percy Tau has solidified himself as a serial winner after his latest CAF Champions League triumph, and flaunted the silverware to the world.

The South African attacker won the continental tournament for the second year in a row after beating Tunisian side Esperance Sportive de Tunis by a goal to nil on Saturday.

The club's triumph also meant that it was the former Mamelodi Sundowns forward third CAFCL medal in what has been an illustrious career thus far. 

Taking to social media amid the celebrations and euphoria of winning what is arguably the continent's most prestigious club tournament, the 30-year-old posed with teammates Aliou Dieng and Ramy Rabia. 

The trio were understandably full of smiles as they flexed their medals for the camera. Tau captioned the post: "Another one".

The former Brighton Hove Albion star has managed to add individual awards to his trophy cabinet as well. He was most recently voted COSAFA Men's Player of the Year at the Council's inaugural award ceremony that took place earlier this month. Earlier this year, he was also won CAF's Interclub Player of the Year award. 

The South Africa international also flaunted his prestigious CAF award on his social media account, letting everyone know that he "chose history".

In terms of collective silverware, Tau has a record that would make most players feel envious of him in an instant. In his cabinet, the Bafana Bafana star holds one Egyptian Premier League, one Belgian Pro League, two Egyptian cups, two DStv Premiership titles, three CAF Champions League trophies as well as two CAF Super Cup medals.
