Chiefs’ ORDER for the rest of the year…

Kaizer Chiefs’ impressive start to the new season has given further rise to the interest in their fixtures with the club due to add two competitions after the FIFA break.

Chiefs have played five games – all in the league – so far.

They have won against Stellenbosch, Polokwane City, Richards Bay, and Golden Arrows while they drew against Mamelodi Sundowns and have notably not conceded in all those matches.

This has added attention to their fixtures list with hopes that the numbers at FNB Stadium will keep rising for all matches.

They have Sekhukhune United next (September 16) in what will be a match against one of three clubs in the league yet to suffer defeat.

After that they open their CAF Confederation Cup campaign with a trip to Luanda, Angola where Kabuscorp Club do Palanca will be waiting in the first leg of the first preliminary round on September 20.

This means the league match against TS Galaxy scheduled for September 21 will have to make way.

Upon returning from Luanda, they will have another away match against Marumo Gallants on September 24 at Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

The following weekend they host Kabuscorp in the second leg.

If they go through, then the next round will be against either Comoros club Djabal Club d’Iconi or the unknown representative from DR Congo where there are still unresolved issues.

Those matches will be played on October 17-19 and October 24-25.

Before this second round, there will be a league match against AmaZulu on October1 at FNB Stadium before the Carling KnockOut Cup round of 16 on October 4/5 which will happen before the October FIFA calendar dates.

If through to the second round of the Confederation Cup, then they will play their league match against Siwelele at FNB Stadium on October 22.

Then if also through to the quarterfinals of the Carling KnockOut then that match will be on October 29.

This could force their next league match against Durban City at Chatsworth Stadium on Friday, October 31 to be moved to either Saturday or Sunday.

Then there will be league games against Orbit College (November 4, FNB Stadium), Carling KnockOut semis (November 8) after which it will be the November FIFA calendar dates.

Should AmaKhosi be in the group stages of the Confeds Cup then will be two games to play (November 21-23 and November 28-30) to play before club football takes a break for the AFCON finals being played in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

That will move their trip to Magesi to November 26 then travel to Chippa United on December 3.

The Carling KnockOut final will be played on December 6 while the next day could be allocated to a league match if they are not involved in the previous day’s decider.

Club football will then resume on January 20, 2026.
