Muchichwa: What Chiefs need to do to beat Pirates

Former Kaizer Chiefs star Robson Muchichwa has issued words of advice to the club's current players ahead of the Soweto Derby.

Amakhosi face challenging odds in Saturday's Betway Premiership clash, where the league's biggest clubs will go head-to-head.

Both teams are in need of three points as they look to close the gap with the teams above them.

Muchichwa acknowledges that Chiefs are somewhat behind the Buccaneers in terms of form.

"When we look at the statistics, Pirates have the upper hand, but in a derby, anything can happen," he stated to KickOff.

"There is a lack of derby experience in most of these boys. They must understand that the derby means something significant to their club.

"In a derby, you don't need extra motivation; losing it will weigh heavily on us for an entire month.

"Whatever you do in the derby will never be forgotten. It's a game you are not supposed to lose.
