Whatever happened with Efmamjjasond Gonzalez at Kaizer Chiefs appears to have been no true reflection of his scoring abilities at all.
Gonzalez spent a season on loan at Chiefs but left without scoring after featuring 13 games (554 minutes) during the 2023/24 season.

He has since been classified as having been one of the worst strikers that have worn the AmaKhosi colours.
However, it has been the contrary out in China at his new Chinese League One employers Shijiazhuang Gongfu where he is on loan from Club Always Ready in the Bolivian Primera Division until the end of the year.
The Colombian was on target again on Saturday as Gongfu drew 1-1 with Yanbian Longding FC.
It was a goal that needed Gonzalez to dig deep to get as he was sent through with three defenders plus the goalkeeper to beat.
He teased the keeper twice before getting the back to his favourite right foot and drilling a powerful shot.
That was the third goal in four matches for Gonzalez for his new employers for whom he has played every minute since joining last month.
Gonzalez has now scored 21 goals and played for three clubs since the end of his season long loan midway through last year.
After Chiefs, he moved back to parent club Real Santa Cruz in the second half of last year scoring six goals for the Bolivian Primera Division strugglers who were eventually relegated.

Those goals caught the interest of Club Always Ready, and he made the move in January.
Always Ready are top of the standing largely due to Gonzalez who scored 12 goals in 16 appearances before leaving on loan to Gongfu in July.
The 26-year-old is now the go to man for his new club in the subject of goals.
