Nabi: Chiefs didn't deserve to lose to Pirates

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi insists his side did not deserve to lose to Orlando Pirates on Saturday afternoon.

The Amakhosi were minutes away from claiming a point until Pirates were awarded a penalty in the 92nd minute, with Patrick Maswanganyi converting.

Chiefs had chances of their own on the day while the head coach was in no mood to talk about the referee's late decision.

"I'm not going to talk anymore about this type of referees. You will see in your studio if it was a penalty or not," Nabi said on SuperSport TV.

"If I talk, red card. If I ask him about his family, red card. 'How are you, red card."

He continued, "We gave them a lot of problems, especially in our pressing to not let them be comfortable with the ball, because we know it's very technical team," he added.

"If you let them play, you give them confidence. At some point they were playing a lot of long-balls.

"There were some good moments for us and some good moments for them, but we firmly believe that it's a game the we didn't deserve to lose."
