'Man-B' rubbishes claims he dumped Chiefs

In this edition of Supporters Forum, Eastern Cape-based Kaizer Chiefs die-hard Mlindelwa 'Man-B' Tyekana has rubbished claims that he has ditched the club for home province club Chippa United.

Tyekana, who claims the first words he spoke as a baby were 'Kaizer Chiefs', as revealed in a previous KickOff.com article, was recently on social media gathering support for Chippa for their match against Cape Town City at Buffalo City Stadium, which was played on Saturday.

Speaking to this publication on Wednesday, 'Man B' insisted he would die Gold and Black.

"People are fabricating stories. I will never leave Kaizer Chiefs, Kaizer Chiefs is my home. Kaizer Chiefs is like a family to me," declares Tyekana.

"Here at Chippa United, I'm just helping our team from my province to get more support.

As supporters of football in the Eastern Cape, we need to take care of football because it's only Chippa United who can bring us Kaizer Chiefs in the Eastern Cape, it's only Chippa United who can bring us Orlando Pirates, it's only Chippa United who can bring us Mamelodi Sundowns.

"So, on the video, I was telling all football lovers in the Eastern Cape: 'Let's go and support Chippa United so that it can avoid relegation'.

"Chippa brings our favourite teams closer to us. Some of our fellow supporters don't have money to travel to Gauteng to watch the Big Three," says Tyekana, who is also a businessman.

The Chilli Boys and Amakhosi will only lock horns on November 29 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
