With his future still in the air, Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper have been handed a word of advice by former teammate Willard Katsande.
Amakhosi have confirmed the exit of five players since the end of the season. All of them were under contracts that expired at the end of June. One player whom Chiefs have remained mum about is one Itumeleng Khune.

The 37-year-old is out of contract but is understood to be determined to continue playing. At the opposite end of the table, Chiefs' hierarchy is also understood to be resolute in their stance that they have offered him his last playing contract at the club and have line-up a role
As discussions between Chiefs and Khune continue, former Chiefs hardman Katsande has shared his advice with the experienced shot-stopper.
"Remember me and him (Khune) are friends, we are part and parcel of this football community," Katsande told journalists at the launch of the Toyota Cup on Wednesday.
"He is one of the friends football gave me. We always talk and we are always positive in every situation,
"It's up to him to decide what he really wants, but the most important thing is that he doesn't need to doubt what he has contributed to Kaizer Chiefs and he must not doubt what he has achieved under Kaizer Chiefs and also in football; how much he touched the souls of people out there. Every goalkeeper, when they were a boy, they wanted to be like Itu.
"You can see that he left a blueprint in football, if he decides to go on the other side (retire). But if he still wants to play, then we have to support him and enjoy him one more time before he hangs up his gloves.
"The most important thing is to listen to your body and to listen to yourself, not peer pressure."
"To say, okay can I still go, do I still have the drive so whatever he decides we only support because at the end of the day, it's between him, his family and what he really wants.
