Fiacre Ntwari will report for his latest call to the Rwanda national team with enthusiasm as international football has become the ‘staple diet’ of his career for almost a year.
Ntwari is in Rwanda’s squad due to arrive in Nigeria on Tuesday for the Group C World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper will also be involved in the match against Zimbabwe on September 9 at Orlando Stadium.
Both games are of interest to Bafana Bafana, who are also in the same group and due to play Lesotho (September 5) and Nigeria (September 9).
Having not been playing any official football at Chiefs for the past 10 months, Ntwari will be hoping to make good of his minutes in the national team.
Should he keep the Super Eagles at bay on Saturday, then it will be welcome news for Bafana.
The Super Eagles are considered the biggest threat to Bafana’s qualification hopes and any further points that they drop will move Hugo Broos and his men closer to fulfilling their mission of being at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in USA/Canada/Mexico.
Ntwari has only been on the bench so far this season with Brandon Petersen keeping five clean sheets in a row.
His last appearance at the Soweto giants was on November 2, 2024, when they were thumped 4-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns in the Carling Knockout.
That was the last of the seven appearances he made for Amakhosi after arriving from TS Galaxy.
