Kaizer Chiefs legend Zebulon Nhlapo praised the aggressiveness and determination of the club's new signing, Siphesihle Ndlovu.
The former SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates central midfielder played a crucial role for Amakhosi at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, scoring the only goal in their league match against the notoriously challenging Polokwane City FC.
Ndlovu came off the bench to net the winner in the 79th minute, following impressive play from Reeve Frosler.
This victory places Chiefs at the top of the Betway Premiership table with six points after two matches.

Nhlapo believes it is time for the 28-year-old to start matches alongside other key players like Thabo Cele.
"Ndlovu is going to prove to be a valuable signing for Chiefs; he continues to show the same determination and aggressiveness he demonstrated at Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, and SuperSport United," Nhlapo told KickOff.
"He's an experienced player, and I hope they can pair him with Cele in the midfield. Ndlovu is a solid signing; it shows that the time for building is over. However, youngsters like Samukelo Zwane should also be given the chance to compete for their positions.
"At one point, we all started as youngsters, but because we were given sufficient opportunities, we were able to grow into the giants we are today," Sputla added.

"The battle for the league title begins with the first match. You can't wait until the second round, as you might find yourself struggling to qualify for the top eight.
"This current Chiefs team gives me hope, but their biggest issue is starting matches slowly. They tend to only start playing once the supporters start complaining. They need to approach matches with intensity right from the beginning."
