Chiefs number one: We have improved under Nabi...

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma is adamant that the team has improved this season compared to previous campaigns, despite a recent run of poor form.

The Soweto giants have only one win to show for their efforts from their last five matches and four wins from their 11 opening fixtures.

They have kept just one clean sheet since the start of the 2024/25, raising some concerns among supporters over the club's ambitions.

For all the numbers, though, Bvuma has argued that the team is playing better than in previous seasons and believes it's just a matter of fine-tuning certain areas in order to turn the corner.

"We are definitely making progress under coach Nabi in terms of how we are playing," the shot-stopper told journalists at the club's training base in Naturena on Tuesday.

"You can see that we have improved a lot than the previous seasons. We are playing well, and as a team, we are doing well. It's just that the results are not coming our way.

"We are getting inconsistent in terms of getting the results.  But that doesn't mean that there is no progress - I believe there is a lot of progress. We just have to get the results going forward," he went on.
