Having jetted off to Turkey this weekend with his team TS Galaxy, veteran forward Bernard Parker did not miss a chance to show what really makes him South African. Here's a look.
The story
Many would agree that there's a certain swagger about South Africans. Among the many things that signal that an individual is from Mzansi is the profuse passion for the BMW 325 IS, which is affectionately known as the Gusheshe.
With Parker being a proud owner of this celebrated ride, he was recently spotted embodying the entire aesthetic of a typical driver of this car. Those who own this vehicle are often ghetto fabulous, meaning that they often exemplify a flamboyant lifestyle that is well-respected in the township streets.
While it might be harder to explain than to witness it, Parker looked like a revered grootman, who could probably do some wicked donuts at any given kasi street.

The Turkey trip
The former Kaizer Chiefs talisman is currently out in Istanbul in Turkey with his club TS Galaxy for some important friendlies against Turkish outfit Giresunspor, Serie A side Sampdoria, as well as Saudi Arabian club Al Batin.
Parker already seems to be enjoying the leisure side of the trip after he showed off the stunning views he has from his hotel room in Istanbul, a city famed for it's unique geographical location.

Istanbul is the only transcontinental city in the world, as it is located in both Europe and Asia, according to On The Go Tours.
