South African football legend Siphiwe Tshabalala was recently spotted seemingly testing fate by chasing after elephants and getting up-close and personal with the mighty big five. Here's a look.
The story
Shabba is on full holiday mode, as he recently flaunted one of the most daring experience one can imagine. Still fresh off a trip to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the former Kaizer Chiefs winger went from the warm desserts of the Middle East to the rich wildlife of out South Africa.
The player, alongside his wife Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, were in Hoedspruit for an adventure-filled excursion. While the couple seemed pretty thrilled with the experience, the whole ordeal did look a bit scary given that the two were just a few feet away from lions, buffalos, cheetahs, and leopards among other animals.

While some might have known that the 38-year-old is a brave character on the pitch, we don't think many expected him to be as lionhearted as he appers to be in his off-field life.
In terms of his career as an athlete, many are still unclear about the Soweto-born star's football situation as he has been without a club since leaving AmaZulu in 2021. Tshabalala has maintained that he is yet to retire from professional football and it seems clear that when he eventually does so, he'll sure announce it given his esteemed stature in Mzansi.
