What Happened?
A number of Mamelodi Sundowns stars paid tribute to the tough-tackling centre back after his departure was confirmed. The Brazilian had to make way for his fellow South American in Erwin Saavedra, given that Downs no longer had a sufficient quota for foreign players.
The star who recently turned 35 will now have to relocate from Pretoria to Durban as he makes his move. Relocating to another part of the world can often be a lonely experience for a footballer's family due to the language barrier between them and the native language speaking people.

Stunning South American
However, when you have your loved ones with you, it can make the process a lot easier and Nascimento certainly understands this concept as his partner Carol supports him away from the game.
The stunning pair have been together since the 2000s and continue to look just as smitten as a couple of teenagers when they are pictured together.
Unlike some partners who struggle to put into words how they feel, Mrs Nascimento often writes poetic odes to her husband and this is what she had to say on his birthday on Monday.
