Reneilwe Letsholonyane is one of the most recognised sporting figures in modern South African football history and as his career winds down - he remains confident the two businesses he's established will maintain his current lifestyle as a professional footballer.
Letsholonyane spent eight years at Kaizer Chiefs winning seven major titles, while also representing Bafana Bafana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Now at the age of 37 and still within the top-flight of South African football with Highlands Park, 'Yeye' opens up about his endeavours of the pitch and reveals what drove him to take the risk during his playing career.
88 Apparel Q - Unique Clothing line
Established in December 2015, 88 Apparel Quality is now heading for its fifth year anniversary since he partnered up with 'Kay Kay' for the fashion line.
"I like nice clothes and dressing up and I got an opportunity to get involved in the [clothing] industry and also invest in it," Letsholonyane tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"I partnered with someone who I knew from the industry and we decided that because it's something that I love, I can take a risk by investing."
The ShaYe Lounge - A place of leisure
Before the coronavirus pandemic, the lounge/restaurant that was already an established hotspot before Yeye and former Chiefs teammate Siphiwe Tshabalala bought it over was thriving after investing into some infrastructure changes.
"With the restaurant with Shabba, it's the same thing, the place is in Dobsonville Soweto, not too far where I stay and it was a pub before," Yeye explains.
"Sometimes I used to go there and just chill and listen to good music, so when the opportunity came, the owner was selling, even Shabba knew the place.
"I spoke to Shabba, he agreed as he was interested as well because we had the same plan with regards the place to change it the way we envisioned it to be.
"I know I will definitely still be involved in football [after retirement] it's a no-brainer and the businesses for me it's a legacy for my family. So I know I will put more effort into it so it grows and one day creates franchises elsewhere.
"There's a big possibility if the businesses are well run and the effort is put behind the growth of the business, I don't think there is anything stopping them to give us the returns that we've been obviously getting throughout our football careers."
