Real Madrid FC strike deal with Microsoft

The idea behind Microsoft’s technology is to give Los Blancos’ reported 125 million followers worldwide the feeling that they are personally involved with the club, its facilities and players through Microsoft’s cloud solutions (Power BI for Office 365) which will offer fans exclusive, personalized and customized digital services.

According to Sebastián Lancestremére, the Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft's sports department, the information gathered from how fans interact and engage with the application will simultaneously help the team from Microsoft refine the content offering.

"This technological application will allow fans at the stadium to individually follow the player they want, view repeats of goals from different camera angles, but also for the millions of fans around the world who support the team and its players, to make direct purchases of products and other things related to the club", he stated.
