Allende bromance emerges with DStv Prem stars

Mamelodi Sundowns star Marcelo Allende appears to be enjoying his time off with his South American compatriots. Check it out!

Allende's Sundowns story so far

The Chilean winger made his blockbuster move from  Montevideo City Torque in Uruguay where he made 87 appearances for his former side and recorded an impressive tally of 18 goals and 23 assists.

So far life at Sundowns has been eventful with three goals in eight starts before heading into the World Cup break. Relocating to another part of the world can often be a lonely experience for a footballer due to the language barrier between them and the country they are in. In South Africa, this is amplified with a wide range of official languages stretching from IsiXhosa to English to Venda.

It appears the star is now acclimatising to South Africa through the help of Ricardo Nascimento and Gaston Sirino who were pictured enjoying some down time with the new signing.

The DStv Premiership players were playing teqball which is a Hungarian sport that combines football and table tennis.

The sport appears to be gaining prominence as Kaizer Chiefs players were also spotted playing teqball ahead of their Soweto Derby win.

Sirino and Nascimento were known to be good friends as they are regularly spotted with Leonardo Castro as the trio seem to spend their free time with each other and occasionally engage in a tennis match.

Allende also led the Chilean junior national team at the 2015 U/17 FIFA World Cup before making his debut in the senior national team last year.
