David Villa was joined by Jamaican Olympian Yohan Blake and a host of other elite athletes as adidas unveiled what they believe is the “greatest running shoe ever.”
And who’s to argue considering the technology upgrades featured on the trainer. The Ultra BOOST aims to make running as smooth as possible with its 3D shape and precise surface measurement.
According to adidas, a runner’s foot can expand up to 10mm in width while running. This expansion can cause friction leading to injury, blisters and major discomfort. The Primeknit pattern of Ultra BOOST provides support in less expansive areas of the foot and adaptive stretch where it’s needed to deliver maximum comfort.
Villa will no doubt receive maximum BOOST with these during training sessions at his new club New York City FC.
