Much of the headlines lately have been about the pressure of Mokwena's job as he continues to search for his second victory.
We know that he was an assistant coach under Steve Komphela at Platinum Stars and Pitso Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns before taking a similar role with the Sea Robbers.
But what else makes up one of the youngest coaches in the PSL? Here are five things you may not have known about the 32-year-old.
I swim a lot. I have got a pool in the house so every morning I try to get to the pool and do a couple of laps. I am not good enough. I can only do basics. I can't do backstroke and all these other things. I love being in the water.
I wake up every morning, I refresh myself, I refresh my mind, I refresh my body. I get the system ready for a strenuous day because coaching is a strenuous job. It gives me time to make sure my mind is in the right space and ready for the day.
In the evenings I try to make sure I have a personal trainer in the gym, I go to gym. I have a certain programme my personal trainer puts me through to make sure I stay fit and healthy.
I listen to every kind of genre, it depends on the space I am in. I am not too big on anything, whatever you play for me. But I listen to gospel, I listen to house music, I listen to hip hop, I listen to R'nB, I listen to kwaito, particulary the old-school kwaito with TKZee. I like that old-school kind of music.
My parents think I should have been a lawyer. In fact my high school teachers also advised me to become a lawyer, but I don't know hey. Probably I would have been a politician. I love politics, I love political leaders. I follow a lot of successful political leaders.
Locally I look up to Nelson Mandela, Thabo Mbeki and Walter Sisulu. I am a big fan of Napoleon Bonaparte.
I loved English and History. I loved English just learning about the language, grammar and pronunciation of words, etc. I also studied German but for only two years. I enjoyed it. I can speak German. History was also my favourite not only because of the good history teacher but also learning about the influential political leaders of society, successful leaders, people who were part of the revolution in different spaces.
