Shield South Africa announce partnership with Chelsea Football Club

South Africa’s number one selling deodorant brand and the newly crowned English Premier League champions have come together to celebrate and inspire South Africans to make moves, both on and off the field.

As part of the partnership, Shield is offering football players from around the country to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a day training with the Blues coaches at their training base in Cobham.

This is to afford aspiring professional footballers a real-life feel of what it takes to make it at the top of the club football pyramid, including hard work, practice and absolute dedication – both on and off the field.

For those who have hung up their playing boots, or if you’re just a football superfan, you could win a dream trip to watch the first team training before enjoying a meet and greet with some of the biggest players in world football.

Aspring soccer players from across South Africa can win a chance to participate in nationwide trials conducted by Chelsea coaching staff to compete for the ultimate prize – a chance to train at Chelsea FC for a day. Five heats will take place in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and Durban, with the trials to be aired on SABC’s SoccerZone.
