Tshepo 'Skhwama' Matete is biting his nails in thought about his stay at Chippa United as he battles on with breaking into the match day squad.
Matete was a January transfer window deadline day signing having started training with the club towards mid-December.

However, he hasn't been in the match day squad for any of the seven games that Chippa have played since the announcement of his signing.
His chances of gametime have sunk even deeper since the sacking of Morgan Mammila – the man who influenced his signing.
Mammila spoke glowingly of Matete even though it had been six years since he last played in the top league while at Baroka where he only managed six appearances in 18 months before the hype around him fizzled out.
Yet while Mammila was still at Chippa, Matete didn't play and has struggled again since Kurt Lentjies took over.

It appears with the relegation situation faced by Chippa the 'township tournaments theatrics' that define Matete's game have no room.
Chippa have six league games left and remain alive in the Nedbank Cup with a quarterfinal date against Sekhukhune United on April 16.
However, worth noting is their league position near the drop zone with their safety still not guaranteed at all.
They are caught up in what is threatening to become an ugly mud fight for survival as they sit three points from the bottom with games against Orlando Pirates, Marumo Gallants, Kaizer Chiefs, Richards Bay, TS Galaxy, and Golden Arrows.
