Revered midfielder Andile Jali is earmarked for a different role at Chippa United next season with his current playing stint at the club lacking one crucial element: game-time.
Jali is expected to hang up his soccer boots when his contract with Chippa expires at the end of June.

’AJ’ joined the Chilli Boys at the start of 2024/25 on a one-year deal that included an option.
However, the former Bafana Bafana international will no longer continue playing football and will start focusing on a new adventure as of next term.
The Eastern Cape-based club has already confirmed the departure of Thabo September as head coach after failing to secure a Top Eight position for participation in next season's MTN8.
According to sources close to Chippa, they have already short-listed Luc Eymael, Abdeslam Ouaddou, and Roger De Sa for the hotseat.
“Jali and Chippa United are currently in discussion about his future at the club. There is the possibility that he might be part of the technical team next season,” shared one source.
Meanwhile, the Gqeberha-based outfit is also set to lose the services of Bienvenu Eva Nga when his contract expires at the end of this month.

The burly striker has been linked with a move to Gauteng, with Kaizer Chiefs reported to have renewed their interest in the Cameroonian.
Chippa have already lost the services of attacker Sinoxolo Kwayiba after joining Orlando Pirates ahead of 2025/26.
The highly-rated player has since penned a three-year deal with the Mighty Buccaneers, as exclusively revealed by KickOff.com last week.
