Midfielder Mdu Mdantsane has detailed a dramatic deadline day offer tabled by Kaizer Chiefs for the Cape Town City star's services that failed to be finalised.
Mdantsane is currently in the final six months of his current contract at City and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement elsewhere.

"I don't have much to comment on regarding what happened on deadline day, but such things do happen in football," Mdantsane tells KickOff.
"I'm still contracted at Cape Town City so my focus is at Cape Town City.
"What happened on the transfer window deadline I don't want to talk about it.
"Right now my focus is on playing for Cape Town City. But yes, my contract is coming to an end soon.
"I was only told on the transfer window deadline 'this was supposed to happen'. But I was not disappointed I must say.
"As for me I have no idea, all I know is I have a contract with Cape Town City, until the end of the season.
"At the moment everyone is focused on the team, we want to move from the position we currently are in.
