SuperSport United could be in trouble with CAF over delayed clash with Horoya in Confederation Cup

The Group D opener eventually kicked off at 19h40 as the bus arranged by United to pick up the visitors arrived late at the stadium.

According to information gathered by snl24.com/kickoff, the bus driver first went to the wrong hotel to pick up Horoya and was later caught in heavy traffic.

A CAF official at the venue hinted SuperSport could face a sanction but referred official comment to match commissioner Benedict Mpopo, who refused to give an interview.

Horoya coach Victor Svunka said he will consult with his team's management regarding whether they will lodge a complaint to CAF.
