Orlando Stadium the likely home venue for Orlando Pirates' CAF Confederation Cup Final against Etoile du Sahel

Pirates administrative manager Floyd Mbele says the club is unlikely to deviate from a winning recipe at Orlando Stadium.

That means the match against Etoile Sahel of Tunisia can be penciled in for their usual home ground on the evening of November 21.

“Nothing has been decided yet and we will probably only finalise everything by next Wednesday. But I doubt there will be any sudden deviation from what we have been doing all along,” he says.

“We beat Al Ahly at Orlando just a few weekends ago. I don’t think any other venue is an option.”

Pirates beat Ahly 1-0 in the first leg of their semi-final before going on to a sensational 4-3 away win in Sunday’s second leg in Suez to book their place in the Final.

They also hosted Al Ahly in the final of the CAF Champions League two years ago at Orlando Stadium but on that occasion they were held to a 1-1 draw and went on to finish runners-up after going down 3-1 on aggregate.
