Pirates and Etoile will meet over two legs in the final towards the end of November and the Nigerian, who was one of Bucs’ key players during their 1995 CAF Champions League triumph, believes the team is capable of finishing the job.

“Nothing is impossible,” Williams says.
“The aim is to win the trophy not just for Pirates but for the country. We were in the final of the Champions League in 2013 and that was a painful defeat [to Al Ahly], but this time around we’ve gained the experience.
“We know what is expected from us and I promise you with God on our side we would make the fans very, very happy,” he adds.
