Zamalek agree to sign Ary Papel in reported R40-million transfer from Primeiro de Agosto

After securing manager Patrice Carteron for another season with a notable wage increase, President Moratda Mansour has stood by his word to invest further to strengthen the current squad.

Currently, in fourth place in the league and 18 points behind unbeaten league leaders Al Ahly, Mansour openly declared that the White Knights are out of the title race - despite having only played 16 games from the 30 rounds of fixtures.

But with the Egypt and CAF Super Cup already secured and a place in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, the White Knight have now invested heavily to rope in Angola international Papel.
