Yanga has dominated headlines in African football over recent weeks after the sacking of coach Luc Eymael after his alleged racial tirade to a journalist went viral on social media.
The Belgian tactician who arrived mid-season after his stint with Black Leopards led them back to continental football with a second-place finish behind champions Simba SC, who completed the domestic treble this weekend.
In the build-up towards their Dar Es Salaam rivals major triumph, their star player Morisson was arrested after failing to comply with authorities who were 'tipped off' to search his vehicle for illegal narcotics.
Morrison released on bail and will still appear in court for his misdemeanour but there are several question marks that still surround his future.
The player claims he signed a six-month deal with the Tanzanian giants after leaving Orlando Pirates and is said to have now signed a pre-contract with Simba ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
After a season without silverware and currently without a head coach, the club has now already confirmed four new signings, which has been explained by the Director of their main sponsor, GSM Investment.
"All the players we have signed already are as per the request from the technical bench, even if Eymael left, we still had a team working under him which still exists and they are the ones involved in this transfer activities," Said explained.
"We are ready to make tangible recruitment of players to create a squad capable to challenge for titles next term. As GSM, we will be fully involved in this exercise."
It's believed that former Kaizer Chiefs and Simba SC midfielder James Kotei is still on the club's radar as well as ZESCO United striker Jesse Were.
