Mansour, who has reportedly been banned from entering the Cairo International Stadium to attend the fixture is known as one of the most controversial figures in African football.
However, under his guidance over the past six years, the White Knights have emerged as one of the most formidable sides in African football with 11 titles won, including the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup.
With Jamie Pacheco reinstalled as their 18th manager since Mansour tenure as president began, the 68-year-old expressed his confidence that they will reign supreme in the Derby of the Century.
"Our goal is to win honour over Al-Ahly club inside the stadium only," he said on his official Youtube channel. "We do not want the quarrels that occurred in Abu Dhabi between Al-Ahly and Zamalek to be repeated in the final.
"We do not forget that the crisis that occurred at that time was due to the participation of Kahraba and his hitting the Zamalek players."
"Zamalek have a stronger squad but Al-Ahly is stronger in the media and this is a fact. We ask our team to play in guise and only for fun and the universe will not end after the match, there are many other matches coming between the two teams."
The White Knights and the Pitso Mosimane's Red Devils face off in a once-off final clash tonight that will go straight to penalties should the two sides not be separated after 90 minutes - with kickoff at 21h00.
