Jane has been named in the starting line-up for Banyana’s opening Cyprus Women’s Cup against the Europeans, and will join the likes of Noko Matlou, Janine van Wyk and Amanda Dlamini who have made 100 or more appearances for the women’s national team.
Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has made six changes to the team which played Sweden in a friendly international at Cape Town Stadium last month.
Captain Janine van Wyk is back after missing that clash due to injury and will start in central defence alongside Tiisetso Makhubela, who is making her first start for the senior team. Busisiwe Ndimeni, Leandra Smeda and Jermaine Seoposenwe are also starting. Karabo Dhlamini, the youngest player in the squad, is making her first start.
Koketso Tlailane is out nursing an injury, so she is not part of the team today.
The Czech Republic and North Korea are also in Banyana's group.
