The hosts looked lively in the opening exchanges and managed to carve out a couple chances with Leandra Smeda and Thembi Kgatlana going close.
Kgatlana squandered another chance on 20 minutes after she was put through on goal by Kholosa Biyana.
However, Banyana eventually took the lead on 31 minutes as Burkina Faso's Charlotte Millogo headed the ball into her own net following a cross from Lebohang Ramalepe.
The hosts squandered a chance to extend their advantage in the 37th minute when Chantelle Essau failed to convert from close range after being picked out by Kgatlana.
Smeda eventually got her name on the score-sheet just before the break to extend the home side's lead, 2-0.
After a quiet start to the half, Banyana bagged a third goal through Kgatlana's close-range header in the 66th minute.
Three minutes later, Kgatlana completed her brace as she broke though the heart of the visitor's defence and fired into the net to make it four.
Banyana turned on the style in the closing stages as they entertained the supporters with some silky touches to round off an emphatic win.
