Ellis said there is no time left for the team and this friendly will help them in their final preparation for the World Cup.
"We are using this game to access our team for the last time, we are always look for consistency hence if you look at this squad there are players who have been in the setup for years," Ellis said.
"We've got a nice mix of youth and experienced players andwe believe it will help us in the balance of the team."
On the game against Jamaica, the coach was asked what they are planning to achieve besides accessing players for the final squad for the World Cup.
"We always look in all departments but on this game specifically we need to look at our striking force. Creating chances is not any issue, but when it comes to scoring them it becomes more challenging. We tasked our players to work on that and we hope to sort it out," Ellis explained.
On the women's professional league, the Banyana coach believes it will help a lot but people can't expect an immediate effect.
"It is important to have a league, especially for young and upcoming players. It will give them an opportunity to expose themselves and also match fitness. As for the national team I don't think we can expect an immediate impact, maybe after two years we can start talking. It will be a good process."
