Bafana Bafana attacker Percy Tau has assured South Africans that the team is making progress ahead of Bafana's friendly match against Namibia.
Tau and Co are set to take on Namibia at Orlando Stadium on Saturday as the first of two friendlies to be played in September as part of the preparation for next year's Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
Ahead of the match, the Al Ahly striker has shared his thoughts on the progress of the team and the scrutiny from South African supporters.
"I think South Africans are very demanding because we are a proud nation and South Africans really believe that we have good players that play in the league and abroad," Tau said at the 10bet media breakfast on Thursday.

"I think also the win against Morocco also helped because it showed the good things that we have been doing. They came out well in that game. But it does not only our highlight, I mean the whole progress that we've been on is what we want to do what you want do.
"We are happy to have the confidence of South Africa back and we are looking forward to the Afcon and the World Cup to show that we have improved. It will be nice to see more support from them and it will show in the games."
The match against Namibia will kick-off at 15:00.
