Broos to play two different teams

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos will use two different teams in the two upcoming friendly games.

On Saturday afternoon, South Africa will face Namibia at Orlando Stadium, and a few days later they will play the Democratic Republic of Congo.

According to an insider, at the moment Broos and his technical team are undecided on who is going to start against Namibia and will only do so on Friday afternoon as he plans to give everyone in camp game time.

According to Bafana legend Linda Buthelezi, this is a great move by Broos.

"I don't see anything wrong about that, it's a great move," Buthelezi tells KickOff.

"I have one concern though, he is scared to select young stars and play them for at least 10 minutes.

"I feel that will help these boys a lot in gaining that Bafana Bafana momentum. So the fact that he is not prepared to try these boys shows he is scared, he plays with only one team.

"Broos doesn't believe in young players, but yes giving all selected players a chance in the two friendlies it's a good idea.

"But there are youngsters that should have been selected. We need to gradually introduce the youngsters who will learn to carry the national team for the next 20 years.

"But as for the consistency in selecting Pirates and Sundowns players, I applaud him for that."

Kick-off at Orlando Stadium tomorrow is 15:00.
