'We want to see everyone' - Broos promises rotation

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos says he will prioritize performance over victory and aims to give more players a chance during the international friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo.

As part of the preparations for next year's Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) South Africa will play the first two of four friendly matches against Namibia and DR Congo in September before playing two more in against Eswatini and Cote D'Ivoire in October.

Ahead of the September matches, Broos has indicated at potential changes in his line-up.

"We have a plan, we were ready that if we shouldn't have so many injuries, even then we were going to make many changes in the two games because we want to see everyone," Broos told SAFA media.

"Therefore, you know when you change much and when you change that successful team of the last three games, that can happen, something maybe a player is not so better than the one who is playing usually.

"So therefore, I said okay that winning is not really important, I'm sure that I can be happy if we lose the game but I see a positive things, certainly from the new players.

"At the other side we know also that that defeat or losing a game, you can't be happy about that.

"But for this two games I will look differently to the performances and differently to the result than it should be next month because there those are games that are very important because they are really the preparing games for the qualifiers in November."
