Legendary Leeds United and Bafana Bafana captain Lucas Radede has opened on why he famously turned down an offer from rivals Manchester United and several other clubs during spell in the Premier League.
Radebe made 251 appearances for Leeds across all competitions during a 11-year spell at Elland Road, where he also captained the club before hanging up his boots in 2005.

Although Radebe did win any major trophies with Leeds, the centre-back ranked amongst the most highly-rated defenders in the world at his peak and it was unsurprising when world's elite clubs came knocking.
What was surprising however, was 'Chief' turn down the many offers on his table to stick with Leeds. The centre back has shed more light on his decision.
"When Man United came looking for me, I declined the move, I said I would stay at Leeds United," Radebe told SuperSportTV in a recent interview.
"I think the offer came to the club [Leeds]. I was called in to the office, the manager tells me that there is an offer that they are willing to accept from a club
"I told him: 'no thank you, I'm happy where I am, at Leeds. This is a club that introduced me to the Premier League and people after me,' and that was it.
"Not to say that [Manchester United] was the only club, there were offers from Roma, which I declined, because I knew there was something [special about Leeds], I wanted to grow with Leeds United and I wanted to achieve with the club."
