Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has offered a word of advice to Relebohile Mofokeng, following reports of a possible move abroad after a sensational second season in the topflight ranks.
Mofokeng has enjoyed an impressive season that delivered 12 goals and 15 assists from 49 matches across all competitions. This output has only fueled speculation regarding what many believe is an overdue move to Europe.

At the opposite end of the ring, Broos is among those who warned against a switch abroad for the then-teenager after his first campaign, urging him to at least spend one more season with Pirates.
Now, the Belgian has conceded the idea that the 20-year-old might leave Bucs, and speaking on SABC Sport after announcing his squad, warned that his team of choice will be crucial.
"The only advice I can give is, they have to make the right choice. That’s the only advice, like (Mbekezeli) Mbokazi has played 15 games for Orlando Pirates, going to Europe? Okay, it would be no problem, but you have to make the right choice.
"If you go to a club where you don’t play or don’t have a chance to play, I think then it’s better to stay one more year at Orlando Pirates. So, that’s up to the player, his family, and his agent. I hope his agent is looking to the future of the player and not to his wallet," says the straight-talking gaffer.

Meanwhile, Bafana are set to take on Tanzania and Mozambique in two international friendly matches on 6 and 10 June.
Mofokeng is named as part of that squad.
