Bafana Bafana are set to face Lesotho in the 2020 African Nations Champions qualifiers next weekend and coach David Notoane has named his 23-man squad.
Notaone takes charge of the CHAN campaign in place of Stuart Baxter, with the aim of building up towards the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in November.
The Mamelodi Sundowns reserve team coach has kept the core of the squad that recently competed at the COSAFA Cup in Durban, where they retained the Plate title.
Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse is left out due to his age, with Amajita captain Khulekani Kubheka replacing him, while Richards Bay's Andile Mbanjwa comes in for Ajax Cape Town's Darren Johnson.
Meanwhile, Cape Town City's rising star Zakele Kewuti has been awarded his maiden call-up to the national setup.
Zukile Kewuti has received his first National Team call up for the African Nations Championship (CHAN). South Africa will play Lesotho on July 28 ????
