Pitso Mosimane wants an offside goal and penalty in Telkom Knockout final to benefit from referees' mistakes

Mosimane reacted with a little bit of humour when Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker accused his team of benefiting from referees' mistakes in the league game against his side at Loftus Stadium on Wednesday.

The Brazilians beat Stellies 3-1 to revive their hopes of catching Kaizer Chiefs at the top of the Absa Premiership.

"We don't get the penalty, they get the penalties," said Barker after the game against Sundowns.

"These are the same teams that were complaining that other teams in the league are getting favours. So what did they say tonight? I bet they said nothing."

However, Mosimane said it was about time his team started benefiting from referees' mistakes and is looking for more favours from the man in the middle on Saturday.

"If I benefited, why not? It's about time," said Mosimane.

"I even want offside [goal] on Saturday then I will lift up the trophy gladly, and penalty. No problem.

"It is the way it is at this point in time. I will take it."

Kick-off at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday is at 18h00.
