The annual ceremony held in Dubai saw Ronaldo crowned the Player of the Century while Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski lifted the Player of the Year award.
Ahly, who were amongst the nominees for the Club of the Century alongside Real Madrid were rewarded with the Top Title Winners of Middle East after a historic treble success achieved under Rene Weiler and Mosimane.
And in his absence at the global event, president Mahmoud El-Khatib received the prestigious honour, as the former Bafana Bafana coach heaped praise on the institution via social media.
"Congratulations Al Ahly FC, forever history makers at [the] global level. This Football Club is an institution," he wrote on his official Twitter account.
"Thank you, God for choosing me to be part of this massive club. Go tsamaya, Ke go bona."
