Nike Kaizer Chiefs kit campaign Forward Forever

Changed coaches, changed colours... this season everything is renewed at Kaizer Chiefs as Amakhosi move forward, not back, towards renewed success.

Chiefs' kit suppliers Nike have produced another dazzling strip for the 2020/21 season that aims to reflect the winds of change sweeping through Naturena.

Fresh after bringing in celebrated new coach Gavin Hunt, the club unveiled his assistant coaches Dillon Sheppard and Arthur Zwane sporting the team's striking new kits for the 'new dawn' at The Village.

The home jersey draws inspiration from the icon and founder of the club, Kaizer Motaung, with the lion's mane design reflecting the chairman's heritage of the Bataung clan.

The away jersey is striking electric blue with gold trim around the neckline and sleeves to reflect the club's prominence as an African brand. The collar of the jersey is also inspired by the lion's mane found on the home jersey.

Both jerseys are constructed using Nike's Dri-Fit technology that aids in wicking sweat to cool down athletes during play. Consistent with Nike's approach to sustainability, the jerseys are made with 100 percent recycled polyester fabric, sourced from recycled plastic bottles.

Loyal supporters are urged to become part of the change at Chiefs by embodying the new designs wherever they support Amakhosi.

"We urge our supporters to buy the new jerseys in numbers and wear them when they support the team from home, while we play behind closed doors," said marketing director Jessica Motaung.

"We say forward forever Amakhosi as we get into the 2020/21 season."
