Former Black Leopards coach Cavin Johnson is delighted to be linking up with Pitso Mosimane after confirming his imminent departure to join Al Ahly.
The experienced 61-year-old is set to join the Egyptian side as assistant coach after being recommended by their new head coach.
Initially 'Jingles' wanted to bring along Rhulani Mokwena as his number two, but that opportunity was turned down by the former Orlando Pirates and Chippa United head coach.

Johnson, who has been without a job since leaving Lidoda Duvha in February, is excited about the new challenge in his career.
"Yes it's true, I am leaving tomorrow," Johnson tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"It's been a good decision to make and I am thankful to Pitso Mosimane. I am grateful that I'm going to one of the biggest clubs in Africa and grateful to Pitso for giving me this great opportunity."

"With qualifications that include the CAF Licence, SAFA Pro Licence, Brazilian Football Academy, FA England courses and a sports management diploma, he has what it takes to help us deliver on our mandate in this top league and beyond.
