Pirates reached Telkom Knockout final last year but unfortunately lost to Baroka on penalties in Port Elizabeth. The Buccaneers are hoping for a better showing this time around.
Mokwena has since urged the Ghosts to fill the Orlando Stadium and create hostile environment for the Western Cap outfit on Saturday evening.
"Its a plus (to play at home). Esigodini, the Buccaneers come in big number. You saw against Cape Town City when we were 2-0 down, they never stopped singing. The Buccaneers are resilient," said Mokwena.
"I would like to encourage the Buccaneers to come in their numbers to fill Orlando stadium. As a club this is what we need. We need the Buccaneers to show the players how much they want this Cup.They need to fill the Orlando stadium and make hostile as possible for the opponents."
Mokwena has revealed that his team has done home work for their Telkom Knockout Cup opponents, Stellenbosch and ready for the battle at the Orlando stadium.
"Stellenbosch come off victory. They are unbeaten in last three games."
"We know they have an experienced coach in Steve Barker, they have international keeper, the centre back [Sibusiso] Mthethwa and the captain, strong aerially, very good man markers. They have experience full-backs in [Marc] Van Heerden and [Nyiko] Mobbi who was with Free State Stars.
"Obviously we have to look after [Waseem] Isaacs, the striker, powerful, strong and quick. He plays off the shoulder very well and likes the space behind. You have to manage that."
