Motshwari it has been revealed is also now likely to be in contention for Pirates' next trip to KwaZulu-Natal to face Maritzburg United in a DStv Premiership clash.

Orlando Pirates had previously confirmed that it had suspended the 30-year-old on 20 September after being charged by police following a domestic disturbance.

Pirates at the time said that the midfielder would remain suspended indefinitely, pending an investigation.

The case was later dismissed due to a lack of evidence, with Motshwari now confirmed to have resumed training as a part of the Buccaneers squad.

Efforts to get contact Pirates' Floyd Mbele for comment were unsuccessful.

It has been a rocky few weeks for the Buccaneers with off-field issues by its squad members dominating the headlines.

Goodman Mosele was recently admonished by Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos for failing to honour a national team call-up.

While Gabadinho Mhango and Thembinkosi Lorch had caused controversy for off-field incidents previously.
