AmaZulu head coach Pablo Franco Martin says the players' health and careers are at risk due to the congest fixture list.
Usuthu struggled with injuries and cramps, as they were forced to make two changes in the first stanza, as Veluyeke Zulu, who had come on for Taariq Fielies, had to be substituted due to injury.
AmaZulu players continued to go down with cramps throughout the match and Martin says "it's a shame" that they have had to play just two days after their win over Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Knockout on Saturday.

"Extremely difficult, extremely physical, also for the health of the players, I already said, for me what happened today cannot happen if you want to be a top league, to play this game with no time to rest, no time to train," Martin told SuperSport TV.
"With players getting injured after 15 minutes, 35 minutes, you're putting risk on their careers and I think it's a shame and I have to say my team is a team of warriors what they did today, fighting again until the end, with no energy, no preparation and getting one point, it's fantastic.
"I know we couldn't give our fans, the country, the show we would have liked to give them because of the lack of preparation and the lack of quality in this situation but this is what it is, we have more injuries now, we have players that are putting risk on their careers and it's a pity for the show and it's a pity for football," he said.
The Spanish coach went on and said forced injuries made things more difficult, as he lost his slot to make changes in the second stanza and suggested that players who carried injuries had to continue until the end and put their careers at risk.
"You are forced to make two substitutions in the first-half, then I'm forced to make another at halftime because I know I have only one more window, the stamina of the players it is what it is, not good enough to play even a game and a game of this characteristics and difficulties even more," he continued.
"And from there we had to wait because we had only had one window, we tried to play until the end, many players getting cramps, again putting a risk on their health, availability for the upcoming games and we were lucky there were not more injuries.
"Let's see if we can recover some for Saturday, a pity for me as a coach because from day one I'm here, I'm coming here to play these games with no preparations," he said.
"We're drawing these games without preparations and we're winning games like the previous one against Chiefs with preparation and I believe we could have got the result with preparation and especially with no injuries," he added.
